Milk Mixture
- 500 ml Full Fat Milk
- 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk (400 grams)
- 3 tbsp Gelatin
- ¼ cup Water
Strawberry Jelly
- 2 packets Instant Strawberry Jello
- 2 cups Water
- 1 cup Strawberries (chopped finely)
- Bloom Gelatin: Take the gelatin in a saucepan, add ¼ cup water and mix well. Let it bloom for 10 minutes. Then heat gently until it melts completely into a liquid. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Creamy Milk Mixture: In another saucepan, combine the full fat milk and sweetened condensed milk. Heat until hot but not boiling. Pour in the gelatin liquid and whisk thoroughly to incorporate.
- First Milk Layer: Pour half of the milk mixture into a glass dish or cake pan. Place it in the freezer for 20 minutes or until the mixture is half set.
- Make Instant Jello: Prepare one packet of instant strawberry jello by mixing it with 1 cup of hot water. Stir well until the mixture is completely dissolved and free of lumps. Let it cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Second Jelly Layer: Pour the cooled strawberry jello over the half-set milk layer. Return to the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes until this layer sets firmly.
- Third Milk Layer: Pour the remaining half of the milk mixture over the set strawberry layer and freeze for another 20 to 30 minutes until solid.
- Top Jelly Layer: Prepare the second packet of strawberry jello similarly, then mix in the finely chopped strawberries. Let it cool for 5 minutes before pouring over the final milk layer. Refrigerate the dessert overnight to fully set.
- Serving: Remove the pudding from the fridge. Gently unmold it onto a serving plate, cut into pieces, and serve chilled.
Notes
- Ensure gelatin is fully melted and fluid before mixing to avoid lumps.
- Freeze times may vary depending on your freezer; adjust as needed to achieve proper setting.
- For easier unmolding, dip the bottom of the dish briefly in warm water.
- Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor and texture in the top layer.
- This dessert should be served chilled and is best consumed within 2 days.
