  • 12 oz. fusilli corti bucati or other short pasta
  • 1 (12-oz.) can evaporated milk (1½ cups)
  • 2 (5.3-oz.) packages Garlic & Herb Boursin cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fusilli pasta and cook, stirring occasionally, until al dente according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta cooking water before draining the pasta.
  2. Make the Cheese Sauce: While the pasta cooks, heat evaporated milk in a large saucepan over medium-low heat until it begins to simmer. Add the Garlic & Herb Boursin cheese and stir continuously until the cheese has melted and the sauce is well combined, about 3 minutes. Continue to simmer and stir occasionally until the sauce thickens slightly and has a glossy texture, about 2 to 3 more minutes. Season with ½ teaspoon kosher salt.
  3. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the drained pasta to the sauce along with a splash of reserved pasta water. Gently stir the pasta over medium-low heat, adding more pasta water as needed, until the sauce evenly coats the pasta. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt if necessary.

  • Short pasta shapes like fusilli, rotini, or penne work best to hold the creamy sauce.
