Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 cup+ cubed watermelon
  • 1 cup+ coconut water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Watermelon: Cut off the rind of your watermelon and chop the flesh into cubes.
  2. Fill the Ninja Creami Pint: Place the diced watermelon into a Ninja Creami pint container up to the max fill line, then pour coconut water into the container also up to the max fill line.
  3. Freeze the Mixture: Place the lid on the pint and freeze it on a level surface overnight for 12 to 24 hours, ensuring it is completely solid before spinning.
  4. Prepare for Spinning: When ready to make sorbet, microwave the pint container for 30 seconds or run the outside under hot water for a couple minutes to loosen the contents.
  5. Spin the Sorbet: Insert the pint into the Ninja Creami machine and spin on the sorbet setting. Alternatively, the lite ice cream setting can be used without issues.
  6. Adjust Texture: If the sorbet appears dry or chunky after the first spin, re-spin it as needed to achieve a smooth, creamy texture.

Notes

  • If you don’t finish the sorbet, level off the top, re-freeze it, and spin again following the same instructions to restore the creamy consistency.
